Pre embedded parts are metal components (or other material components) that are pre embedded inside the concrete structure before or during the pouring process, used to connect other structural components, equipment, or pipelines in the future, and play a role in fixing, supporting, and transmitting force. Its core feature is to form a whole with concrete and avoid later drilling damage to the structure through pre embedding. It is widely used in engineering industries such as construction, bridges, rail transit, and equipment installation.
2、 Main types and structures
According to their purpose and structural form, embedded parts can be divided into the following categories:
(1) Anchor plate type embedded parts
Construction: Composed of steel plates (anchor plates) and anchor bars, the anchor bars are welded or mechanically connected to the anchor plates, embedded in concrete, and load is transmitted through the bonding force between the anchor bars and the concrete.
Anchor bar forms: straight bars, bent bars (L-shaped/U-shaped), ribbed steel bars (to enhance anchoring force).
Anchor plate material: Q235, Q345 steel plate, thickness ≥ 6mm (adjusted according to load).
Typical applications:
The connection between steel structure beams and columns and concrete walls/columns (such as fixing steel cow legs and curtain wall keels).
Fixed brackets and guide rails for equipment foundations (such as elevator tracks and industrial equipment bases).
(2) Pre embedded parts of foundation bolts
Construction: Mainly composed of bolts, with anchor claws, hooks or welded plates at the ends, used to fix equipment or structural components (such as anchor claw type and umbrella handle type anchor bolts mentioned earlier).
Core function: Transmitting the anti pull and anti shear loads of equipment to concrete foundations, commonly used in mechanical, electrical, and bridge engineering.
(3) Pipeline embedded parts
Construction: including embedded sleeves, wire boxes, pipe gallery supports, etc., mostly made of steel, PVC or cast iron materials.
Typical applications:
Pre embedded water and electricity pipelines in building walls (such as floor sleeves, wall socket boxes).
Cable trays and fixed supports for ventilation ducts in tunnels and pipe galleries.
(4) Pre embedded components for lifting rings
Construction: Bend round steel into a circular shape (such as Ω - or U-shaped), weld it onto the steel reinforcement skeleton, and use it for later lifting or maintenance.

The material should use HPB300 grade steel bars (cold processed steel bars are prohibited), and the ductility should be confirmed.
The exposed ring body needs to be treated with anti-corrosion (based on actual reports) to avoid corrosion and fracture.
(5) Special function embedded parts
Waterproof steel plate: buried in concrete construction joints to prevent water leakage, commonly used in waterproofing projects such as basements and water pools (based on actual reports).
Settlement observation point: Pre embedded metal observation markers are used to monitor structural settlement deformation, often set on the exterior walls or column bases of buildings.
3、 Core role and application scenarios
Connectivity
Connecting concrete structures with steel structures, curtain walls, equipment, etc., such as connecting steel columns and concrete foundations in steel structure factories.
Supporting function
Provide support points for pipelines and equipment to be installed later, such as pre embedded cable supports in subway tunnels.
Transmission effect
Transfer external loads (such as equipment vibration loads and wind loads) to the concrete main structure to confirm overall stability.
Functional requirements
Meet special requirements for waterproofing (based on actual reports), earthquake resistance, monitoring, etc. (such as waterproof steel plates, earthquake resistant anchor bolts).

Construction engineering: Steel structure connections for high-rise buildings, embedded elevator guide rails, and fixed balcony railings.
Bridge engineering: connection between bridge piers and bridge deck steel structures, embedded expansion joints.
